Robot Joint Gearbox
ZHAOWEI uses modern technology to provide a variety of gear motor specifications of robot joints, ranging from 3.4mm, to 45mm, to meet their respective requirements. Through years of R&D and design, combined with the market demand for robot joints, ZHAOWEI has optimized gear design, manufacturing accuracy, and gear backlash. Through the interaction between communication and rapid response, the DC gear motor drives the robot joints. This requires a larger power-to-weight ratio and torque-to-inertia ratio, higher starting torque, low inertia, and wide & smooth speed adjustable range. The robotic end-effector (gripper), specifically, should utilize a joint motor of compact size, light weight, and high short-period overload capacity.
The DC gear motor of the robot joint has 2-stage, 3-stage, and 4-stage transmission changes. The reduction ratio, input speed and torque of the gearbox can be adjusted according to the design requirements of the robot motor. In addition, our robots’ gear motors have low voltage, low power, low speed, low-noise, long sevice life, are small, with high torque. This meets the transmission requirements of six-degree-of-freedom control for actions better. The transmission efficiency improves, and noise reduces.
When designing the robot joint gear mold, the gear displacement figures, and the planetary gear tooth interference check optimizes to improve joint motor efficiency. This also reduces the noise produced, so that the robot joint can move more flexibly.

The voltage, speed and torque of the robot joint gearbox are generally determined by the clients’ requirements.
